Ever imagined The Wire as performed by Lego figures? Austin-based filmmaker Joe Nicolosi has and presents here in four concise minutes a hilarious block-centric reinterpretation of the five acclaimed seasons of the HBO crime and urban corruption drama. Some of the show’s classic lines adapted from Baltimore to “Bricktamore”: “Avon Blocksdale”: “I wants my blocks!” Bunk to Jimmy: “There you go, Jimmy – givin’ a brick when it’s not your turn to give a brick.” And just like the real Wire, it’s all connected – for real.
