The Fuse network recently kicked off a web series devoted to profiling folks with "extraordinary vinyl record collections" entitled, "Crate Diggers." In the latest installment world renowned DJ and spoken word artist, Rich Medina does some show-and-tell with his favorite vinyl pieces . Not only does Rich possess rarities like Andrew Wartts and the Gospel Storytellers' There Is a God Somewhere album (which sounds like - no lie - gospel folk backed by Fela's Africa 70), but he's not too much of a record snob to big up essentials like Kiss' Alive LP (the first record he bought with his own loot). Check it after the jump...

Those in NYC would be well advised to check out Rich's weekly "Props" soiree with co-conspirator Akalepse every Wednesday night at LPR in the Village.
