To commemorate the Beastie Boys' induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Rush Arts Gallery is hosting a photography exhibition of the work of Sunny Bak and Talib Haqq. Bak's classic shot of the Beasties at the World's Fair in Flushing adorns the inside gatefold of Licensed to Ill . Hollis, Queens' Haqq began shooting Rush clients in the early '80s; he may be best known for the photo of Run-DMC that graces the group's debut LP. If that weren't enough, a public conversation with will take place on the same day at the same locale with Bill Adler, Dan Charnas and Cey Adams - who together brought us the mammoth book, Def Jam Recordings: The First 25 Years of the Last Great Record Label . Be there!
