1. TONIGHT: “Rubble Kings” NYC Premiere.

    egotripland contributor Freddy Anzures posted the announcement on his BLOGZ page last week, but it bears repeating in this space. Rubble Kings – the latest documentary endeavor from the folks who brought us the acclaimed Downtown Calling – premieres in New York City tonight. Given that the film focuses on the history of South Bronx street gangs in the ’60s and ’70s through the birth of hip-hop we’d say it’s a big deal that this thing is opening here in the Big Town.
