Todd James’ latest solo exhibition, King of the Wild Frontier , opens in New York later this week and we strongly recommend that all fellow NYC people attend. Not just because Todd, a/k/a REAS, once found it in his heart to lend his artistic talents to our Big Book of Racism! – but because dude is one mega-talented OG for real, having done everything from The Source , Beastie Boys’ Brooklyn Dust Music, and Mobb Deep logos, to designing the Crank Yankers ‘ puppets, and more works on the fine arts tip than we can mention. Even his instagram illos are the illest. For King expect everything from a revisit of his Somali pirates series to a recreation of the “Vandal’s Bedroom” installation recently shown at LA MOCA. Miss at your own risk!
