All dogs go to heaven, but it looks like Tim Dog, who most of the world thought was dead, might be going to the Big House. As J-Zone alerted us yesterday, the supposedly undead rapper is wanted by the law...if he is still alive, that is. Memphis news channel WREG reports that a Desoto County, MS judge has issued an arrest warrant for Timothy "Tim Dog" Blair. It is now believed that Tim might have faked his own death this past February in order to get out of paying back a female victim he was convicted (back in 2011) of swindling. He reportedly still owes Esther Pilgrim $19,000.
“I need a death certificate showing that’s he’s dead because as far as I’m concerned, he’s alive,” said prosecutor Steven Jubera, who filed a petition with a judge on Tuesday to have Tim Dog’s probation revoked. “Nobody said where he died, nobody said where he was buried, which is very odd for an obituary.”
Apparently, even some of the Ultramagnetic MC's also are suspicious.
WREG reports: In fact, even one of Tim Dog’s closest hip hop colleagues Ced Gee tells News Channel 3 that he refused to speak at Blair’s funeral because Tim Dog’s family could not produce a death certificate. Ced Gee believes after that, the funeral never happened.
So, it looks like the hunt for the Dog is on unless family members can prove he really is, in fact, dead. For more on this crazy-ass story, please watch the video:
