Ted Nugent is at it again. In a recent editorial for the Washington Times , the veteran rocker/conservative activist - the man who in 2007 called Barack Obama "a piece of shit" and told the then-presidential candidate to "suck on my machine gun" while holding actual machine guns - laments the Supreme Court's decision on the POTUS' health care plan - and suggests that the growth of federal power is an unfortunate result of the North winning the Civil War.
Because our legislative, judicial and executive branches of government hold the 10th Amendment in contempt, I’m beginning to wonder if it would have been best had the South won the Civil War. Our Founding Fathers’ concept of limited government is dead.
And while "Home Bound" still indisputably rocks, all we can think of when we hear about Nugent airing out stuff like this is how disappointed Biz Markie - a fan from way back - would be if he knew what a meanie The Nuge is.
