    I Want My Name Back (NYC).

    Tonight, Wednesday, July 10th, 2013, in Harlem our friends at the Maysles Cinema present a free screening under the stars of I Want My Name Back , Roger Paradiso’s documentary film which traces the legal fight by original members of the Sugarhill Gang to win the right to use the group’s name from its label, Sugar Hill Records. The night’s events includes a special live performance of “Rapper’s Delight” featuring Sugarhill’s Master Gee and Wonder Mike accompanied by none other than Cold Crush’s Grandmaster Caz – uncredited writer of Big Bank Hank’s verses – and a ton of other OGs.
