Shiznit We Slept On: “Straight Outta Compton” (Redneck Version) (2009).

Like we often say around these here parts, there's nothing like new boot goofin' except for maybe sitting 'round the campfire at night roastin' marshmallows and singin' gangsta rap tunes. It's always fun...that is until someone says the n-word (and by n-word we mean the OG, GTFOH, -ER kind and not the spell-it-wit-an-A type that still gets some people mad but tends to get a pass by certain individuals). Youtube user cowboygangstarap, who calls himself a big Ice Cube fan, well, he prefers to use the far more volatile variant in his country 'n' western rendition of N.W.A's "Straight Outta Compton." Of course, this is far from the first time that white folks have taken on the N.W.A catalog , but this is one ho-down sure to raise eyebrows like O'Shea Jackson.

LISTEN TO COWBOYGANGSTARAP'S VERSION OF ICE CUBE'S "GIVIN' UP THE NAPPY DUG OUT" AFTER THE JUMP...

    UPDATE:

Several egotripland readers have hipped us to this amusing clip from the BBC series Rush Hour . Now the whole family can enjoy N.W.A.

There's a ridonkulous number of white people covering classic hip-hop in their indigenous musics. Sometimes it actually works, sometimes it don't.

I put a bunch of 'em together in a mix a while back: http://elmattic.podbean.com/2010/08/10/close-cover-before-striking/

...because, I don't know, it's kind of intriguing and cute.
