Today marks 14-years since the passing of Lamont "Big L" Coleman, the D.I.T.C. emcee and Harlem native renowned for delivering outrageously memorable punchlines on classic recordings like "Devil's Son" and "Ebonics." L's stature has only grown in the years since his death with his fans quoting his most entertaining bars like they just dropped. This, of course, includes Lord Finesse , the man who discovered and mentored L from the beginning. While on tour overseas, Finesse paid homage to his friend's legacy by sharing some of his favorite Big L lyrics on The Twitter (and asking fans to share their own). Big L, rest in peace.
