    If ever there was a musician whose influence from the jazz-funk era into the hip-hop era was worthy of documenting it's the great Roy Ayers . And for the past few years the Roy Ayers Project has been working on doing just that. Next week the folks behind this documentary film in progress present a preview screening of their work at The Counting Room in the heart of Willie B.
