1. RoQ’y TyRaiD – “LAX to Germany” (AUDIO).

    Granted, international creative collabs aren’t exactly a novelty anymore given this thing called the Interwebz. But that doesn’t prevent LA emcee RoQ’y TyRaiD from flaunting his Deutschland connects – in the person of incredibly-christened producer, Rice Master Yen – on the spirited “LAX to Germany.” Yen’s (Jens’?) tight electric piano-propelled production evokes vintage Beatnuts. RoQ’y flows with casual confidence, his references to shopping in “Paree” actually not coming off at all incongruous beside shouts to Zulu Nation, or playfully rhyming “Germany” with “heard a’ me.” And it’s like that.
