In homage, Marco Polo enlists the contributions of esteemed colleagues Talib Kweli and DJ Premier for the tribute track, “G.U.R.U.” Over MP’s bells and strings-fueled track, Kweli relays his own heartfelt recollections of first meeting Guru circa ’94 before his (“We were just snot-nosed kids but you showed us love all day”).
