1. M.F. Doom "ego trip" Magazine Interview (1998).

NEWLY ADDED TO OUR READ SECTION: In commemoration of the god M.F. Doom's birthday (born on this day in 1971), egotripland contributor, and Complex editor-in-chief Noah Callahan-Bever revisits his late '90s interview with the Super Villain - originally published in ego trip magazine issue #12 from 1998. This story was actually NCB's first ever magazine feature, back when he was still roaming the halls of Berkley Carroll High in BK by day and interning for ego trip after class (thus undoing disproportionate amounts of his formal educational studies). Fortunately, we'd say NCB seems to have gone on to do okay for himself. He's even found time to write a stupendous new preface (and added never before seen photos) to his original story in which he vividly recalls the experience of hanging out with Doom out on Long Island at his parents' crib, conducting the interview, sipping 40s, and hearing selects from the then-unfinished Operation: Doomsday . Read it, HERE . HBD, Doom!
