1. AUDIO: Latee - "Who Rips the Sound?" EP Sampler.

Forget the fact that he languished in the shadows of more successful fellow Flavor Unit emcees Latifah, Apache, and Lakim Shabazz - Latee should have released more records than he did. In fact, all of four 12-inch singles - the twin Wild Pitch classics - "This Cut's Got Flavor" and "No Tricks," a Stretch n' Bobbito essential, "Brainstorm," and an equally dope the from the vaults gem, "Latee Rocks the Bells" - constitute his discography. Until now, that is, thanks to the tireless rap archivists at DWG (Diggers With Gratitude) out in the UK who've recovered four extremely promising sounding, previously lost 45 King-produced Latee demos on the Who Rips the Sound? EP . These would include an original version of "Brainstorm." Who Rips the Sound? drops April 23rd, but you can pre-order it, HERE . Peep the sound clips after the jump.
