1. Kanye’s “New Slaves” Goes Global on 66 Walls (VIDEO).

At least he’s trying, will give him props for that. As everyone and their mama’s mama has heard by now, Kanye West premiered his latest single “New Slaves” all across the globe by projecting the song’s video (which is mainly just his face in stark black and white) on 66 building walls last night. To be fair, this is probably more engaging to see live in person rather than on your computer. Definitely want to hear a clearer version of the track, which boasts the usual Yeezy boasting (“You see it’s leaders and there’s followers/ But I’d rather be a dick than a swallower”) and delves into some serious matters (“Meanwhile the DEA teamed up with the CCA/ They tryin’ to lock niggas up, they tryin’ to make new slaves”). Anyways, for those of you, like us, who weren’t on Twitter last night, peep it.

    Shot in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY.
