1. SEE, HEAR: Herbie Hancock x Grandmixer D.ST. Perform “Rockit” Live (1984).

    D.St

This is fresh, Herbie Hancock and the band (with major turtable contributions from the pioneering Grandmixer D.St.) jammin’ through the international monster smash “Rockit” for the famed ’80s UK TV show, The Tube. Not only do Herbie and the fellas rip it (uh, rock it), the stage show is set up to mimic the popular (and oddly mechanical) music video for the song, all to the delight of the studio audience who go into a dancing frenzy.

BONUS: Herbie Hancock “Rockit” Music Video.
