1. The "Haunted Armor" by Nathaniel D. Denver Book Pledge.

Ages ago when ego trip was still a hip-hop/punk rock 'zine, this mighty nice fellow named Nate Denver was one of our many editorial assistants who would come into the office a few times a week and help out. After a while, though, it was time for Nate to continue his odyssey so he bounced, but he still stayed in touch, droppin' us letters from faraway places, even including a copy of his band's 45 record in one of his correspondences. Flash forward many years and word got back to us that Denver had become a fireman. He had also managed to write a book filled with 50-word stories called Wait, You’re Not a Centaur in his spare time. (In case you haven't figured it out, this Denver guy is a go-getter.) Now, you can be a part of Nate's future by helping him get his next opus, Haunted Armor , published. Another fifty 50-word story compilation, it's "designed to discourage villains and inspire champions" and contains "drawings built to break brains and arms."

For more info on how much dough you got to pledge to not only get autographed copies of his new book but also partake in a freestyle battle with Denver, go HERE .
