Shiznit We Slept On: Erick Sermon Interviewed While DJin’ (1993).

In ’93, The Green Eyed Bandit made a pit stop in the Bay to promote his No Pressure album and appeared on episode 6 of the Hip Hop Slam TV series, a local rap program airing on Oakland station Soulbeat. Things opened up with a bit of a surprise, the E-Double cutting up LL’s “Rock the Bells” on the 1′s and 2′s. He then chopped it up about his then new Def Squad label, deftly sidestepped questions about the EPMD breakup and explained why he admires Teddy Riley.
