Duck Sauce Season

Little known fact: longtime ego trip mascot the Biz Doll is a slave to the rhythm. His middle name is Jack. When you’re in his hut you know what’s up. He’ll house you. So when club ditty maestros A-Trak and Armand Van Helden – allied in their wonderful Duck Sauce partnership – invited Biz to appear in their latest music video, “Barbra Streisand,” the Diabolical doll’s happy feet jumped at the chance.

A-Trak shares some thoughts on the enormity of this collab:

“This video is an ode to the classic New York hip-hop spirit. We decided to get a whole bunch of cameos and really make it over the top. I wanted to get someone from the Golden Era… And then it hit me, “We should get the Biz Doll.” I grew up an avid reader of ego trip so I remember their iconic poster with pictures of every rap dude and the Doll. (Big Pun!) I also grew up a big Biz fan; my winning set at the 1997 DMC World Championships even included a routine with “Nobody [Beats the Biz].” So I reached out to the ego trip Illuminati and we made it happen!”

There are a few other “stars” featured in this fine and very festive music video as well. But let’s be real – none are on the same level of the BD. Watch for yourself:

You should not of allowed that to happen, that A-Trak kid is technically nice on the wheels but super ultra devoid of any funk or soul, pure wackness & everyone is on his bozack? …that track is hipster weekness of the highest degree …should never of belittled the legend of the Biz Doll.
