1. DJ Spinna ft.
Shabaam Sahdeeq – “Motion Picture” b/w
    “Do You” (AUDIO).

DJ Spinna‘s production talents comfortably occupy divergent stylistic spaces all over the musical map. But hip-hop is his homebase, and the Brooklynite’s new label Correct Technique is wholly devoted to such endeavors. Its latest release reunites Spinna with fellow Polyrhythm Addict Shabaam Sahdeeq for two fine exercises in boom-bap-ology. “Motion Picture” features a blaxploitation-styled cinema style story rhyme accompanied by a familiar sampled horn riff. “Do You” melts down a classic EW&F vocal riff, reshaping it into a still hooky mass of abstract intergalactic speech. Both tunes pressed on red transparent 7-inch vinyl. Peep some more detailed images above as you listen below.
