1. DJ Shred One — Sample Soul: A Tribute Mix to Soul Music of the '60s & '70s Through Hip Hop Beats (AUDIO).

    From the URB Mixtape Series.

Shred One tells URB: I’ve been learning how to use the SP1200, so I’ve been going back, listening to a lot of producers’ beats from the '90s (Pete Rock, DJ Premier, etc). It inspired me to do a mix with a collection of hip-hop beats that sampled '60s and '70s soul music from some of my favorite producers and DJs.
