1. DJ Food’s Record Bags from Around the World.

One of the coolest parts of the Cut Chemist episode of Fuse’s “Crate Diggers” was when Cut revealed his collection of record store bags. As it turns out Strictly Kev – the UK DJ/producer also known as DJ Food – has a nice collection of his own. Culled from vinyl outposts across the globe, they range from the sleek simplicty of Hi-Fi Records out of Chicago to the super dense edge to edge illustration of Borderline Records of Brighton, UK to the screen print white on transparent bag of Tokyo’s Vinyl Planet (seen in the above image gallery carrying a copy of Edan’s Beauty & the Beat LP). Given Kev’s role as longtime art director at Ninja Tune his appreciation for these designs should come as no surprise.
