The above from 1978 features the show's Triple Spotlight segment - a crew of couples puttin' in work to Bohannon's classic "Let's Start the Dance" (starts getting real serious about :40 in).

BONUS... WATCH the show's most famous clip - a stoopid fresh 1982 dance line to seminal Detroit techno record, A Number of Names' "Sharevari." (The dude with the guitar is THE MAN.) The Scene , SEEN!
