1. WATCH: Danny Brown — "Jay Dee's Revenge" (Music Video).

Hey, you don't got to convince us. Just the mere mention of Detroit's Danny Brown rhyming over an unreleased J. Dilla beat is enough to get us open. Now comes this tantalizing video (via Nah Right) for "Jay Dee's Revenge," a single off of Rebirth Of Detroit , a full length collaboration of various hometown MC's lacing tracks from the late, great producer (as well as other local beatmakers) being released on June 12. The somewhat chaotically edited clip slips in plenty of Dilla references (like the custom airbrushed Nikes pictured above) while Danny Brown can be heard just viciously eating up the hypnotic beat. Peep the flashy, frenzied action in 3, 2, 1...

funny - yall condemn artists who 'sell out' by endorsing products, but you have ads with Rick Ross on your website = hypocritical epic fail.

COMPLEX MUSIC = part of the reason hip hop's authentic artists are underrepresented.

Hmm. We are curious — where and when have we condemned any artists for "selling out"? And what authentic artists do you feel are underrepresented?
