You know it's getting real when furniture is getting "lynched." In a public display of racism heavy on the subliminal dis tip, a Texan by the name of Bud Johnson hung a chair from a tree in his front yard in an apparent allusion to President Obama. If you're goin' "Huh?" right now, we don't blame you, but let us explain.
It seems that the lawn gesture is a reference to the speech given by Hollywood star Clint Eastwood at the 2012 Republican National Convention in which he addressed an empty chair as if the POTUS was sitting in it. When asked by Burnt Orange Report to comment on the effigy, the Northwest Austin resident (a past "Yard of the Month" winner, by the way) responded:
"I don't really give a damn whether it disturbs you or not. You can take [your concerns] and go straight to hell and take Obama with you. I don't give a shit. If you don't like it, don't come down my street."
Alrighty then, Bud. We will avoid your street. It sounds like a dead end street, anyways.
