1. A Tribe Called Quest On The Right Path in 1990 (VIDEO).

    Tribe_Called_Quest_Live

Here's more quality footage from a special moment in time: A Tribe Called Quest in London Paris in early 1990 opening up for the Jungle Brothers . Noteworthy for many reasons, but perhaps most intriguing as it's a chance to see ATCQ before the release of their first album, People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm with Jarobi having a more active role in the group.

For your listening pleasure, Tribe rolls through "Pubic Enemy," "Push It Along," "Description of a Fool," "Youthful Expression" and "Rhythm (Devoted to the Art of Moving Butts)." The intro is especially entertaining, with Q-Tip and Jarobi entering da stage like Shaolin monks as Ali Shaheed Muhammad spins "UFO" by ESG. (Check for Phife Dawg with the funky steps and African staff.) Sending peaceful afrocentric vibes to y'all where ever you are. NYC stay strong.

I was at this concert @ L'Élysée Montmartre in Paris... It was a Boogie Down Productions show with also The Jungle Brothers but as I remember, ATCQ name wasn't on the flyer... A big surprise for me!!! I discovered the group that night and the next day I went to a record store to buy their album... Great memories and I never knew that someone had a video of this :)
